God often takes us down paths we never expected for ourselves- missions and writing are two of those surprise paths in my life. Follow along as I figure out the next step in this journey down His path for me.

I didn't have any plans to create a blog. I had one ages ago when I was in middle school, but it was terrible and distracted me from being present in my life and my time with Jesus. But, during a season of emotional craziness in my second year of college, I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep when God gave me a poem. I tried to ignore him and go to sleep, but He was incessant. Finally, I gave into his call for me to write it down. That week He promised that the words He gives me will be used for His glory. So, here I am, four years later, terrified and excited about how He has spoken to me. As I learn and grow, I'm going to need grace, please. But I promise, with every bit of my being, to do my best to honor the Lord first, you second, and myself third as I learn to share with you what God is sharing with me.
